These are super rare, unused, black anodised and contrast cut brake calipers made by Harrison BILLET (UK) for WALZ HARDCORE CYCLES in Germany (now Hardcore Racing). Marcus Walz built some of the most outstanding custom Harleys in the world (the website is walzcycles. Like Harrison BILLET, Walz Hardcore make uncompromising high performance and quality, with killer looks. This set is for Harley TwinCam Softail with twin disc front ends and has two 6-piston front calipers (left and right), a 4-piston rear, and the rear bracket kit.
The original Harrison BILLET part numbers are: HC208B, HC209B, HC096B & rear bracket kit 12080BB. These calipers come complete with pads, fasteners, and 1.0mm and 0.5mm (x 3/8) shims to get the caliper centered over the disc.
I also have some other fitments of'New Old Stock' Harrison Billet calipers and discs for Evo and Twincam: Softail, Dyna (including FatBob), Sportster, Glide/RoadKings, Buell and VROD (and a few calipers for early Japanese and European bikes, superbikes and supermoto). See my other ads or message me a request. Since 1983 they make single or sets of 4 and 6 piston front and rear calipers, in show polished, clear anodised and black anodized finishes.
Their products are all still made in-house to exacting specifications (not outsourced to cheaper, less exacting countries), resulting in uncompromising performance and finish. I know from direct experience because I use BILLET Brakes on all my builds. Ken Harrison was the original designer and producer of direct fit race-spec brake upgrades when big bikes first started being produced in the mid 1980s and released with single piston sliders off 250 and 400cc bikes.
Harrison are the originators of multi-piston'one pad per piston' race spec calipers, later copied by Brembo Gold series. The performance advantage of that design is that as the leading edge of the pad provides the braking bite; multiple pads multiply that bite. S most important in the wet as the leading pad sweeps the disc dry while the following pads still apply leading edge bite. This eliminates brake'snatch' in the wet, when two-pad calipers'skate' on the disc surface until it dries off, at which point the pads grab the disc. BILLET aluminium is extruded under pressure to produce light and very strong aircraft specification material, without the porosity of cast metal calipers. To provide fully progressive braking, the calipers have approximately 2mm of swell designed into the body (possible with 6082T-6 aircraft spec billet ally) so there is remarkable feedback through the lever, especially so during hard braking. 1/ Pictures form part of the description.
